    Is this reasonable?

Wife showed me an ad in the paper for a BP with a 55 Gallon tank for $55.00. Is that reasonable. I am going to house the snake im my rack when I get it ordered. I figure the tank is worth that much alone. I am going to use the tank for one of my Beardies.

The ad says the BP is 8 months old. I figure it will be about the same size as Salina.

    I will keep them quarantined.

Well if the snake and the tank are both in good shape, its more than reasonable to me, you could get a normal between 35-65 dlls, depending on wether its a male or a female, pattern, etc. so it would be as getting a 55gal tank for free.

    Re: Is this reasonable?

Well I am supposed to get a call from the guy tonight or tomorrow for the snake. I told him to call me on payday if he hasn't sold it yet. He also has an adult 3ft male that he will be letting go very shortly. He has orders to Italy in Febuary and snakes are illegal to keep there. One of my troops told me he has a big female too. I am going to be in snake heaven here soon I hope.

    Re: Is this reasonable?

I got the call from the guy earlier today. He is throwing in his second BP for an extra $40. It is going to cost me $205 for two BPs and a 55 Gallon tank. I hope to have a few pics up with in an hour or two. I really hope these guys are healthy well cared for snakes. I talked to his wife a few months ago and she seemed very intelligent and seemed like she knew a lot about BPs. I guess I will see here in a few min.

    Re: Is this reasonable?

Well I picked them up. I have my work cut out for me. Scar, the big guy is in the middle of a bad shed. He escaped for a few months in thier house and thye just found him this week. He has a scar from a mouse bite. He is about 3-3.5ft pretty meaty. Baby, the smaller guy looks to be in decent condition. They were housed together, so I need to separate them which will be done tomorrow when I can get down town. I am going to keep thier humidity high and not feed them for at least a week. We did handle them a little today when I checked them out and when we were preparing thier new home here. I am going to try to keep my hands off for at least a week. My kids love these new babies. They are pinging and going nuts. We have no batteries for the camera right now so I will work on that and get some pics up of them shortly. I just know these to boys are going to be great additions to my collection.
