nice clear pics! what's the optical zoom on that cam?

i like the last pic, the exposure is just right between the background and snake. (imo)

12x optical zoom.....it does a great job at it too (one of the main reasons that I wanted this camera)....so now when I see copperheads, rattlesnakes, water moccasins, etc. in the woods I can snap pics without fear (ha...and I got a pair of snake chaps from my parents so that helps too).

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I got a Sony DSC-H1. I have only taken pictures with normal settings and the flash on or off......this thing has so many features that it is going to take me a while before I figure out all its capabilities....those pics seemed a bit bright to me (kinda odd looking where the background ends and the snake begins)...so I now have something new to occupy my free time
