    I'm just shaking my head

This is advice given on another forum on how to find a lost BP. Unbelievable!!!!

to catch your snake listen carfully. Tie a string tightly to a dead feeder mouse and the other end to a stick or post and run it into the ground, then put a box over it with an entrance. Leave it overnight and check it the next morning, youll catch it if its outside. This will not harm your snake just cut the string and it will be digested with the mouse.

...ha....that is a great way to catch racoons and neighborhood cats....I have set traps for LOTS of animals before....but never one for a snake (although I will try Kev's method from The Complete Ball Python if I ever have one escape again....that book is freakin awesome btw)...

Where have I seen that expression before? Oh yeah! Ralph's journal! LOL

Anyway, I had to read that quote like 3 times to make sure I wasn't mis-reading the advice. It was such an old post, I didn't even bother to even say "are you kidding me????".

    I'm still slack-jawed over it!

You tie strings to bait for racoons and cats that they swallow?

I can't wait to get the book! Have to wait until after the holidays though!

Robin, most critters usually just bite and run....no swallowing (ha ha....those usually like to chew )
