mouse was too small

i just fed dexter and when i put the mouse into his viv i discovered the mouse was sooo small... dexter could eat one much larger. (hubby picked it up on his way home from work)

so what should i do? i don't have another mouse for him, i could pick one up tomorrow though but should i be feeding him the day after a feed?

should i wait till next week and just make sure he gets the right size mouse?
