    Something WAY off topic....

I was looking through some pictures tonight, and decided to scan a few in. Last summer (2004) I studied abroad in the Czech Republic for four weeks. It was an intensive immersion into the Czech language (we received three quarters of credit for four weeks). After that, a couple friends of mine and I travelled up to Poland, and then back south to Romania to check out Transylvania and the home of Vlad Dracule, the original Vampire. Anyway, here's some pics I thought you all might enjoy.

This is a pic of the gang we were studying with: all us English speakers had to stick together, you know? Olomouc, Czech Republic:

A little village in Romania, as seen from the mountains:

My roomy, Jenn, and I, freezing our butts off in Brasov, Romania. We were able to wear shorts and tees in Olomouc, but once we hit the mountains, it got COLD!

Prague Castle, as seen from Charles Bridge:

The Prague Orloj, or Astronomical Clock:

John and I with the Krakow Lion, Krakow, Poland:

Me with all my friends in our humble abode in Olomouc:

Deep in the Carpathian Mountains, at Vlad's Castle:

    Enjoy!!!!!

Wow, very nice pics there! I had a few friends from Czech Republic when I was at the University. Really cool people, very open minded
