Upper neck pinkish, is this normal?

I am thinking about getting my 1 last bp and am in love with this one. But her upper neck is pink while the rest of her body is not. I wonder if this is normal for some morphs.

Sometimes getting ready to shed causes pink like that in light areas that isn't always uniform. Very young hatchlings can have really pink necks but generally by this size it becomes more pale yellow colored or white.

But it is not an injury, burn, or anything sickly?

To me, it appears to be the combination of the light coloring (not much pigment) and the neck area not having as much bulk as the body, so you're seeing more of the snake's blood circulation as you do in albino snakes. And from the ad you found, it appears to be typical for this morph, but I can sure see why you wondered.

Well, thanks guys. I just bought her, should be shipped anytime soon. This is probably gonna be my last thread for a while unless something really abnormal happens to 1 of my BPs. I have no more space for more BPs and you guys have taught me everything about husbandry. I might start a progression thread at the end of the year because most of my snakes at that point will be around 1 yo. Thanks for everything, especially to Bogertophis, Nikkubus, and bcr229.

I'd love to see a progression thread if you are up to it. You got some really cool ones.
