    update on zulu

ok, zulu hasnt eaten for 2 months and 8 days. he's lost a lil bit of weight. before he was at about 1640(in that range) and i just weighed him tonight. hes at 1505. i took a picture of him too. here:

do you guys think he still looks healthy? thanks guys. its really stressful for me cuz my snakes are like my babys.
P.S. i noticed hes not as thick as he used to be. i can almost fit my hand around him. before i couldnt, and he doesnt seem as full.

In my opinion he looks very healthy. I'd wait for more experienced people to say what they know though.. I have heard that a bit of weight loss is fine, (can't really help it if you're not eating, y'know?) but just keep offering the food and keep an eye on him and the temps and humidity.

I think he looks fine too. A little weight loss shouldn't be a big deal. Tis the season. He's probably looking for a girlfriend. Like Shelby said, if the temps and humidity are correct I wouldn't sweat it yet.

he doesn't look "sickly thin". double check all your husbandry(temps, humidity, hides). stick with whatever prey and feeding technique he was feeding steady on before. the cage looks a little tall (imo) alot of airspace to heat. play close attention to the coldest part of the tank at night, try to keep the coldest spot at 80 deg.
