Rattlesnake found in Old Town Alexandria, Va

    Happy ending to this story

"“Nobody was injured, and that includes the snake,” she said. “The snake is fine and well and will live out his life in the wildlife facility"

Not a very scientific article ("goes by the name American Viper" ) and they don't seem to be aware that snakes brumate through the winter, lol. I hate to break it to them, but this is probably NOT the "only one there".

Right? I guess no one told all the timber rattlesnakes in New England that it’s too cold for them to live there either

I guess they're happier living with their delusions?

My guess is they've heard similar things said about the burms in Florida, that they can't survive further north, & assumed it goes for other snakes too? They sure didn't do their homework.
