Does anyone else do this?
Lately, when I've been feeding Kashmire and I drop the mouse in, I get one of those Godfather voices and say "Say hello, to my leeetle friend!!!!"
OK, sometimes I slay me! LOL (can you tell I'm bored right now?).

Usually, it's all Finding Nemo stuff when feeding. "We're eatin RAT TONIGHT!" and if I DO ever get a refusal... <knock on wood that I haven't yet> it'll be... "No eating here tonight, no eating here tonight, no no no eating here tonight we're on a diiiiii---et!"

Omg you people are killing me here.....LMAO!
I of course being a totally serious minded snake keeper do NOT make any sort of wierd sounds, sing songs, do impersonations, etc. 
The simple fact is that I'm sure, given enough scientific study, it will be proven that murmuring in one's best "mommy/daddy" voice....."ohhh lookie it's a nice num nums...mmmm good tasty rat for you"....actually aids in the digestive processes of snakes!!!
Of course, with certain large female who shall remain nameless (and you know who you are Brann!) it's more of.....get f/t rat on hemostats....open tub...attempt to approach to feed....jump 10 feet in air as 4 feet of snake fires up at you and snatches her dinner....figure out how to get said snake now coiling prey back into tub....shut and lock tub....stop shaking....have a strong drink and decide to just feed live!

I have one that does that, only sort of in reverse: I put the rat in her feeding tub first, get 'Cedes out, and before I can even put her down into the tub, she's got the rat and has coiled it. Scared the crap outta me the first time she did it... she's holding the rat in her coils, still holding tight to me with her tail. Now it's just amusing.
Be a lady, for cryin' out loud!
