ive been promissing to post pics of gingers setup and here it is it took me a while to get batts for the camera and figureout how to limit light reflection hope you like them.
AP = animal plastics T11 = model number.
its very easy to clean. (the way i do it) takes about 30 min max
step 1 take all plants rocks ect out and put in big white tub (not bath tub i have a 2foot square plastic tub) fill with hot water aditate plants to remove dust ect... instect for poo or anything else that dont belong. i have a brush that i use to scrub if needed. change water rinse repete. spray all plants with novasan (blue water) every thing sit. this takes 15 min top.
step 2 take big shop vac (5.5hp) 2.5 inch dia hoses ect. desined to suck up sawdust. bought at homedept for about 70.00. use to suck up all old mulch. and anything else. 2 min max.
step 3 spray inside cage with novasan (more blue water) wipe dry with paper towles. 2 min max.
step 4 put new mulch in cage. and do final rinse on plants and other cage items (hides ect..) final rinse is with very hot water this aids in drying. 10 min max also use paper towles to help dry excessive water
step 5 shake as much left over water off plants and stuff. put back in cage. put cleaned water dish back in cage. open all 3 top vents to let all the extra humidity out. put ginger back in cage. 3 to 5 min or so.
total time 30 to 35 min tops once a month. i do do regular weekly poo patrols where i spend 10 mins or so removeing well you know poo and pee. omg how dod something that big come out of so small a snake....
oh empty big shop vac into large trash can out side 5 min but i dont consider that part of cleaning the cage. the shop vack is very usefull for sucking up playsand and all other cage cleaning things.
