Eyeless ball leaking from eye area

Hi
I have a 1.5 month old eyeless banana pied.
Where his left eye should be is occasionally leaking a clear fluid. Vets have no clue.
Any ideas what might be causing this or what it is?[IMG]

Time to see another Vet. One swab an off to the lab the sample goes.

It could just be nasal discharge but I don't have a sample.

my guess would be that his ducts is still semi-functional. But with his deformation some of the fluid may be misdirected to outside the body instead into the mouth, but maybe call around and see if there is a reptile vet that has experience with reptile eyes - you may have to drive for a while as I assume they are few and far between. But as long as it is clear, not sticky, and has no smell and there is no swelling around the area you should have time to find a real vet.

This is what I am thinking also. Some type of duct coming out a wrong hole.
Fluid is clear. Almost drool like.
