my guy shed last night and it was nearly perfect. he left about half a centimeter on the end of his tail. i was wondering if i should soak the end of his tail so that he can get it off. repies appreciated. thanks guys

I really wouldnt worry about it - especially with it being where it is - it should slough off relatively easy in no time at all.

If it would make you feel better, you can give him a 20 min soak in tepid water, and then work the shed off with your hands. Its usually not hard to get off at all.

    Re: almost perfect shed

Last time one of ours left a tiny bit on her tail tip I just grabbed a warm, wet rough facecloth and gave it a very gentle rub and off it slide (very gentle though no scrubbing LOL).

    Re: almost perfect shed

just make sure it comes off

if itdoesnt then there is always the risk of it preventing good flow to the tail tip and the tip will die
