Re: Austin Stevens on AP tonight at 7 central...

Mike and I watched that last night Dan and I have to say we were sitting here looking at each other going...."is that guy brain dead???". Why would anyone, TV show or not, purposely do such risky behaviour around a big, wild snake. Good lord if it's wasn't so funny I'd be seriously wondering about that show! LOL

Maybe I'm a weenie but geesh if I suspected a huge water luvin snake was in a body of water I don't think I'd be merrily puddling along in deep water, with my cam above my head and my itty bitty snake stick hoping to tick it off enough to show itself! LMAO

That guy is such a JOKE! Did you see the part about how his martial arts hones his fast responses to deal with snakes? LOL. Oh, and I wouldn't give him much credit when he was dealing with that retic. The entire scene seemed very staged including the multiple underwater shots and the Matrix-style stop-motion shots.

....ha ha....my fav part was when he got bit by the cobra....but then it ended up not being that big of a deal ...and it was the first 'show' shoot too....ha

I think the guy is just a bit dramatic....and they like to put a little action in the show...I thought it was interesting to find out that he got herp experience in the wars in Angola...

The part about his stint in the military was interesting. The part with him working out with the nunchaku was just ridiculous. I think I would be more embarassed about having that on film than being bitten by the python.
