    Discolored scales...

I have a question about my bp's scales. since his last shed (about a week ago) he has a few patched of scales that are not as shiny as his others. Its not leftover shed because it all came off in one piece including the eyecaps. I soaked him for a bit thinking it was a moisture thing but that didn't do anything at all except make him poo. does anyone know what this could be?

Is there anyway that you can post a picture?

    Re: Discolored scales...

Unfortunately not at this time. My digital isn't quality enough to a clear close up shot and my room mate has his in Calgary. I will have them posted as soon as he gets home if the problem is still here.
William is eating fine (ate 30 min. ago) and isn't soaking (thinking it would be mites), and his temperment is as good as it has ever been. I am almost thinking its no big deal, but i don't want to assume anything.

    Re: Discolored scales...

Sounds like it's just dry scales. It happens sometimes after a shed.

A picture would still help though.

The scales aren't brown and curling up at the edges, are they?
