Talking My own little escape artist.

Well, I now have a new respect for just how cunning these little buggers are! I've heard of them being expert escape artists, but now I can really understand it. I came home from work today, excited to hold Mr. Bojangles since he finished digesting his last meal (and had his first poop, as well!). After slowly lifting his hide, I noticed he wasn't there - "OK, the other hide then..." Nope. "Wow," I thought, "this lid is pretty snug, too!"

Long story short, I found him snuggled up safely under my roommate's (unborn) baby's crib, which is bein stored in the herp room for now. As secure as I thought the lid fit, it obviously wasn't enough, and I'm glad the room's door was shut! Looks like I'll be getting some binder clips after all!!

Stupid question I hope. Do you have cats? My cats eyeball the hell out of my herps. If you do lock the cats in a bathroom or something that has been cleared and secured. I would do that with your dogs to if you have any.

Nope, no other animals; the damn landlady wanted a rather hefty deposit for them, and as far as I'm concerned animals in tanks don't count!

Anyway, I guess I didn't say it before, but it only took me about 5 minutes to find him The room I have setup for the Herps is relatively small, and always has the door shut to save heat.
