always on the cool side
As much as I worry about the hot side of my enclosure...my little guy is never over there. His temps are (79 cool, 83 inside the cool side hide, and 92 hot side hide) He ate on Fri., and I fully expected him to hang out on the hot side but he wasn't having it. He is out roaming more than he is hiding, even during the day, but I haven't seen him hang out in the hot side hide for days.....any worries?
To clarify: this isn't something new for this snake...since I got him, he just prefers the cooler side. I just didn't know if this was to be expected...he's never missed a meal, and sheds great.

Re: always on the cool side
You can't watch him 24/7, so you may miss it when he makes use of the warm side. If you're sure of the temps, then I wouldn't worry about it!!

Re: always on the cool side
I wouldn't worry to much, mine is doing the same thing, hardly ever hangs out for long on the warm side, explores her cage all the time, and mostly sits on the cool side.
