I’m have a 100w thermostat and I have two snakes and two set ups. Do I have to have a thermostat for each uth and each heat lamp?? Thanks

In general, yes.

The exception to the rule, is if the tanks are in an identical location (right next to each other or stacked) and have identical tanks, heating elements, etc. Then it CAN work, using one thermostat with probes on one tank on each heating element, but again, everything has to be identical.

If the heat lamp bulbs are identical wattage and the sum of the lamp wattage is under 100W then it should be ok. Most bulbs are higher than 50W though. I also don't like to use the max load of heating sources that a thermostat can handle. So, if a thermostat is rated for 500W I'll only load it with 400W worth of heat sources.

Right now i have the probe need one uth with both of the heating pads plugged into the thermostat with a 3 plug surge protector. The heating lamps I only use at night right now and I’m using the blue “night time” bulbs. I just wasn’t sure if this was a good idea. I forgot the wattage on the uth, I will have to go back and check. Both are for 10-20 gal tanks. Thanks to both of y’all for the advice.
