Are you snakes "left handed" or "right handed?"
This is a silly poll .. .but according to this study, most snakes coil clockwise. What does yours do? If you have multiple snakes, vote for what the majority of them do.

My BP is coiled clockwise in every single photo! Very interesting, gotta read that study now.

Mine usually starts counter-clockwise when entering his hides but then slowly "puddles" into a loose pile. At night he drapes all over everything like someone used him to TP the cage
 No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

I'm not sure about mine, never thought to take note, so I'll have to get back to you on this. 
Meanwhile, now I'm wondering if they coil the opposite way if they live below the equator?  (like water going down a sink drain)
"Objects not attached to the surface of the earth (water in a sink going down a drain) will create a vortex going the opposite direction. So in the Northern hemisphere, it moves clockwise. In the Southern hemisphere, it moves counter clockwise. On the equator, water goes straight down."

Both Lan Fan the Japanese rat snake and Mazikeen the ball python are clockwise coilers.
