    have a hard time

Hello Im haveing a hard time picking my next snake. I love RTB but im going to pick a BCI if i choose this snake, and i also love the colors of the Sunglow Montley Cornsnakes, and a Durmils. If i choose the boa which is the two is the smallest between the two boas. So what do you think buy the corn and flip a coin for the boas? Thanks Aaron

OK, sorry for being so ingorant with regards to herp lingo, but what's with the acronyms? RTB, BCI? Is there something I should read to get familiar with these types of terms (I've been seeing them alot), or does it just come with experience?

BCI's are not small no matter what. They all reach at least 6 ft. If you're trying to get the smallest of them (which could be what you meant ) go for the a male in any species and they will usually be smaller. I said "usually" though.

    Re: have a hard time

If you want a smaller bci, get a male hogg island. Dumerils get big. Here's my female.. she's not unusually large at all, in fact she can easily grow more. (the blue thing is a 1' ruler)

Sunglow motley corns are very cool. I have a little male, but he is a nasty little bugger!

I'd bet money on the reason being because all snakes are different. Some are nasty little buggars, some are angelic little buggars.

    Re: have a hard time

Heck it's not ignorant to not know short forms, I'm still sorting out what half of it means or what some of the differences between this or that are LOL.

If you don't know, just ask. If anyone makes fun of you for not knowing, they should remember everyone starts out not knowing and if they are smart, they never end up thinking they do know it all anyways LOL.
