    Reptile Basics 23 qt tub

108-23 tub measures 22.44" Deep x 14.76" Wide x 4.25" Tall. This is comparable to 28 qt tubs without the height. Opinions on what size I could keep in them? I have been told up to 2000 grams or so. Anyone else house 2000 gram snakes in these or close to that weight?

The lack of height is gonna be an issue for a BP so for a 2000 grams animal you will want something close to 6 inches.

I would say up to 1250 maybe even 1500 grams but that would be tight.

When you are gonna feed and they gonna coil you will not be able to close those tubs and that is gonna turn into a hassle very quick, not to mention the snake may coil and not eat because the tub will have to remain open.

Those would be better suited for colubrids IMO
