RTB enclosure ?
Hello, I am going to get a columbian RTB in the near future, but need to get an enclosure set up and running first. The tub I have is 20 7/8"W x 52 7/8"L x 14 1/16"H, I believe that this is big enough for the life of a male RTB (if not let me know). My question concerns heating. With my BP, I use nothing but UTH's and have no problem keeping the heat up, and the gradient is there by using a dimmer on the cool side. I have never used a plastic tub, my BP lives in glass. I have contacted Matt at MGreptiles about a flex-watt solution, and would like to have some opinions on heating this tub (what should I put it on, I imagine it needs to be raised off the ground like my aquarium is).......thank you for your help.
1.0 BP; Sir Hiss (I have a cartoon problem)
0.1 Blizzard Corn; Princess Fiona (Gaelic=white, fair)
4.0 Yellow Labs; Drake, Goose, Mojo, Buddy
1.1 Scarlet Macaws; Ace, Duece
3.0 American Bison; Death, Danny, Bambi
10.10 Race Horses (number changes a lot)

Re: RTB enclosure ?
If the male rtb grows larger, you may need a bigger tub than that. Plus that, a baby rtb needs a small tub to start in.
I use flexwatt for everything, and I set it directly on the ground. You probably will need a couple of pieces of flexwatt for it.
