    First time feed

i just got my first ball three days ago. the guy at the store said that he hadnt eaten the last time they were fed so i tried to feed him a f/t mouse. he took it right from the get go. im really excited about it! anyways i was wondering how big of a mouse can he eat? ive heard just bigger than the width of his head is ok...just wondering so he gets the right sized meal. thanks

    Re: First time feed

If you feed your snake one mouse or rat a week (and the mouse or rat is the size of the snake's width at his widest point) he should be just fine.

Keeping them on a seven to ten day schedule helps with keeping them feeding regularly.
