    Sticky Request: Buying/Building Racks

    Hello,

I have been looking and searching on the forums for a good guide to commercial racks, the pros and cons of the different brands and which sizes they offer, but I haven't found one.

Also, I was looking for a good DIY post that goes through how to decide what size tubs you want and how to figure out your rack dimensions/tub capacity, and haven't found one.

Before anyone jumps on me, I have used the search feature.

If these kinds of threads already exist, could you please direct me to them?

If they don't exist, would someone be interested in creating them?

    Thanks!

I found some DIY builds in that section of the forums, but some of them are missing pictures and some don't really explain the logic behind them or how to route wires.
Still not sure why they didnt show up in my search.

I'm sure this is all something I could figure out myself but, it seems like a huge expense to potentially screw up due to a simple mistake in design.

I have to say I spent a good 6 months looking at racks for Juviniles. The best one I found was the VE-6 from Reptile Basics. I like it cause it has 3 different tub sizes. For adults I found a V-180 locally really cheap, so I went with that.
