It's finally here! My little guy is officially one year old and I'm beyond excited. I got him on August 4th when he was approximately two weeks old (didn't know that was odd at the time, I didn't really know anything and bought him from a sort of shady guy..) and this year has honestly gone by so quickly, I can't believe he's one already. I brought him out for some pictures yesterday and I was comparing them to some from when I first got him and the difference is crazy! I think I sort of forgot what he looked like when I got him lol. I had no idea how much he weighed when I first got him but he was TINY (obviously lol), and he's still only about 430 grams but it seems like he's gotten huge since then (and for the record he looks a bit skinny in these pics bc he didn't eat last week, but don't worry he ate a good meal last night and will be fat again in no time haha).
Anyway, throughout this year I've had some ups and downs in regards to snake ownership and I've learned a lot, and idk, this just feels like a big milestone for him and for me. I'm really thankful for this forum and community and I don't know where I'd be without this place.
So yeah! Just thought I'd post a little update, Bo is doing really well and I'm just so happy with him, thanks for reading <3
And btw I've included a couple pictures from the week I got him in case anyone else wanted to see just how much he's changed
