    Scaleless ball pythons health?

All the threads I can find on this are several years old, and only speculate that "they won't be healthy". Is there any update to how these scaleless BPs do over time?
Do they feed well? On that note, are smaller meals necessary (does the skin stretch less?)
Do they dehydrate or deal with dry skin issues?
    How's their mobility?

Interesting that he suggests using Bag Balm (main ingredients being petroleum jelly & lanolin w/ a tiny amount of antiseptic) for
these BPs as needed for a shed issue? That would sure mess up a regular snake with scales.
