    Which would you do?

This will be a little ways down the road but is the one pairing I'm torn on.
    Killer pied possible leopard female.
Males- black pewter het pied and pastel clown.

Pewter is going to black pastel champagne ph pied for sure. I do want some double hets, but I'm torn on if I want them more than better odds at a black pastel pied to add to that group.

Depends on your end goal and priorities. I personally wouldn't waste the season trying to get your visual with only a ph, it's fine as an add on but I'd want to know I have at least one pairing with good odds if I wanted the visual pied.

That changes though if your top priority is to eventually make clown pies. Then I wouldn't want to waste a season since it's a time consuming project to begin with.

You just need to decide which one is your priority, no one can really tell you which is better because they are two completely different goals.

Me personally, if I didn't have at least one other pairing with good odds of making the visual pied I would put the 100% het pied boy to her so I new I would have good odds of getting the visual but I'm not a very patient person lol.
