Mouth Rot.

I've been really worried about mouth rot lately.. i'm pretty sure all my snakes are mouth rot free but i just wanted to know some things. Like, what are the key signs, how do they get it, and what are the steps i can take to cure AND prevent it.

A few signs of it: the bottom jaw does not align with the top one right. There would be an irregular opening instead of the mouth neatly matching up with itself. The bottom jaw could look deformed and "stumpy."
Are your snakes in too-moist cages? This can be a cause of it. I like to open my snakes' mouths once in awhile just to check things out in there. I use a q-tip to gently pry the bottom jaw open, holding the q-tip perpendicular with the neck-head of the snake, using the bar part of it, not the cotton part! I would research it a little before actually doing it; maybe Google it to see some pics of it being done.
