    Roger Willams Park Zoo

Katie and I went to the Roger Williams Park Zoo the day after our wedding last weekend.

We had a blast. We saw some cool animals (some pictured below) and fed two seals! I have a video of us feeding Bubba the seal posted below as well as some pictures.

    Komodo - Toref's Big Cousin

    Copperheads

Tree Kangaroos - WOW - Adorable

Wow, thanks for sharing, man...looks like a great day. Incidentally, when is Toref's cousin coming for a family get-together? (get pics!)

Looks like a fun time, thanks for sharing!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Awesome video and pictures, I've never heard of tree kangaroos till now. Those copperheads look really cool, I had to really look at the picture before I found the second one, also love the komodo dragon, I've always wanted to see one in person as you can't really appreciate their size with just pictures. Also, congrats on the wedding.

One of those copperheads is a timber rattlesnake that’s missing its rattle...

Hmmmmmm. The Timber Rattlesnakes were in the display next to this, but I thought the same thing. I just wasn't brave enough to say it. I think you could be right.

The pics of the Timber's didn't come out well. They seemed darker though.

Correction: The heads look slightly different as well. I think you are dead on.

Climb, no. They look like they were built to cuddle!

Having said that, I know Kangaroos can be pretty tough, so I did not attempt a hug.

I thought the same thing and questioned myself. I figured I would wait for Boogie to come along and clear things up. It looks like JM beat her to it.

Awesome pics, Dave. I'm glad you and Katie had a nice time. The last time I went to a zoo was a few summers ago when I took my niece. Might have to schedule a zoo trip for this summer with her.

I think my favorite animal there were the ring-tailed lemurs. Those little guys are too darn cute!!
The Gators, tigers and prairie dogs were cool exhibits too.
And they had some cool monkeys and a very nice bird aviary.
