Humidity TOO high
I have my baby Red Tail in a 20qt/19L Sterilite rubber storage box. Now i have about 20 or so holes throughout it including the lid. A small heating pad mounted on the side and a small water dish among other things. I had a humidifier hooked up to it but my humidity was at 80% so i took it out and now it's lingering above 70%.. I wanted to know how could i possibly get the humidity down without having to drill anymore holes? because it doesn't seem like it's making much of a difference.

Re: Humidity TOO high
What's so bad about drilling holes? You need a new drill or something?
Top holes let more humidity out.

Don't know exactly what your setup is, but you could move your water bowl all the way away from the hot spot, if it's not already. Try putting the water dish the furthest away from the UTH.
....oh, and drill more holes

nah, it's 11:30 at night i don't think my parents would appreciate me using a drill.. i'm using a knife and it's killing my hands.
Alright so i made about 10 more holes and widened the existing ones. let's see what happens.
Oh, and thanks for all the help so far

Re: Humidity TOO high
Nope, still at 70%.
Would i be wrong to assume that anything above 70 is dangerous and that 70 percent is alright, not the best, but alright?
