Is there any way to prevent condensation from forming on my ball pythons Viv doors??

Re: Condensation
More air flow should help. A few more details and we could help more. What kinda of viv and how are you handling the humidity, spreading water around, spraying, what kind of substrate. I see mine condensate if I over spray but if I mix water into the substrate is not as bad.

Condensation results when there's too much humidity & too little air flow in a warm enclosure. Many vivs used for BPs have very little air-flow & lots of warmth, so you can either increase air-flow, or lower your humidity, assuming the temps are correct. What's the (humidity) reading?

I just cleaned him out and I use coco fibre so it's still damp from when I was getting it ready. He's in a wooden viv, Humidity around 65%

If the fiber is too wet it could take some time for condensation to clear up. But at 65% it shouldn't build up like that. I would see about some more air flow. Did you make the viv or buy it? What is the inside sealed with?

I bought it and sealed all edges with silicone

Re: Condensation
What about the wood itself? Is that sealed? Just curious as the wood will rot quickly if not sealed properly. I have seen some sold for drier environments that aren't sealed for higher humidity use like that required for BP's. Or is it melamine?

And there's NO vents in the viv? No wonder you've got condensation... you could drill a few holes in it (& it sounds like you should), either that or install a vent.
