    IBD question

So I've read that IBD can be detected with blood tests, but was unable to find much on the cost of said tests. I found that the test needed are: "Blood samples from a subset of these snakes also were tested using polymerase chain reaction. Routine and special staining techniques showed there was good agreement between the presence of reptarenavirus in the blood cells, and being IBD-positive." Source: https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...1216142842.htm I've only seen IBD once in person, but on the site listed it was reported that out of 131 snakes 19% were infected. So since there is a test for it now I am guessing that it is ridiculously expensive or else everyone would be testing their snakes.
