Some of you may remember Zahara, my 20 year old high pink normal from this thread: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-20-yr-old-boa
I decided to pair her up with Kirk (Captain James T), a red group jungle, for what is most likely her final breeding.
Well she really had me worried for a while - as she went a whopping 131 days POS before dropping her litter!
Her prior litters were at 108 and 111 days. (boas generally give birth around 105 days for those not aware)
Kirk is a nice jungle but doesn't have a crazy pattern except a small tail stripe, I'm thrilled with the patterns on most of these jungle babies!
I have nothing to complain about here though! Mom is doing great and I love the outcome!
Obligatory in the goo shot:
One of the things to look for in the jungle morph is a red tint to the eye, this pic shows it well.
Baby on the left has the red tint in the upper half while baby on the right does not:
First two that moved away from the birth site (I only remove them once they move off on their own)
Better shot of that cool thin striped one in the back:
Some reverse tail stripe action:
Love these chunky connected stripers!!
The whole litter together in their tub (I keep them like this until they shed, then they go into individual tubs in a rack)
Can't wait to see them post shed!
Thanks for looking
