So as some of you may or may not know i've been frustrated with one of the BP's shedding situation. First he took forever to start and then he couldn't get it off. So today i soaked him in a warm bathtub for 45 minutes. when it took him out i wrapped a soft warm cloth around him and then held him in my hand applying the slightest amount of pressure. WELL! he started slithering away and the skin just slid right off. He practically did the work himself i just gave him something to anchor his skin on. It all came off in one whole piece in my hand. And i'm 100% positive it was as painless for him as it was for me.
When my next one begins his shed i'm going to do that same exact thing. Because the first time he shed he had trouble too. I don't know what it is. I keep my humidity at 70% whenever they shed and yet they still seem to have trouble. And it always comes off in bits.
I just wanna know if any of you think that what i did today is wrong because although it seemed to work perfectly i don't wanna take the chance of harming either one of them.
