    Explain your Avatar Thread

Hey! I thought I'd start a pointless thread in which you can describe your personal avatar
If it's a personal picture, please describe its significance and its subject. if you picked it out of the gallery, why did you pick that one?

Mine is a lew little pic I made of my kitty, Inky, saying Happy Halloween

    Re: Explain your Avatar Thread

well i recently changed my avatar for the first time ever since joining the site. it used to be my little kitty phoebie, but now it is a pic of a recently hatched 5 day old crested gecko baby on my finger. it was too cute to resist so i had to put it up for a while.

    Re: Explain your Avatar Thread

Mine changes a good bit but I think I've had this one longer than most.

"Shonto's Garden" deludes me into thinking I feel the peaceful zen which eludes me.

    It's really more like or

(EDIT: and THANK YOU soooooo much Gin, now you've stirred the embers and I'll have to get a new avatar. Grrr )

Mine is a picture of Kashmire that I liked. The lighting made him look a little lighter than he really is, but I liked the shot just the same!

Mine is a pic of Rojo Loco, aka "RoLo" aka "You Sexy Thang" - my favorite blood python (Python brongersmai). I'm pretty nuts about bloods, and he's a good reason why!

    Here's a full body pic -

I like to think of my avatars as homages to timeless classics. Like Bill, here.....little reminders of often forgotten perfection.

    Re: Explain your Avatar Thread

My current avatar is just a pic of Pelota that I took after she had just shed, and was giving me some cute tounge flicks. I liked the shot, so I resized it, put a border on it, and put that sexiness up.
