Do balls stretch their mouths or yawn? I've just noticed in the past week my boy seems to yawn once in a while. Not constantly but every once in a while. He seems very healthy, his last shed was perfect and he's eating well. He's not grumpy or anything and hasn't ever bit anyone. We adopted him about 6 weeks ago he's 3 years old and about 31/2 feet. First snake for us and are really enjoying him.

They do both. Totally normal.

Most of the time you can catch them yawning immediately following a feeding. When you catch them right after the feeding, it's usually done to re-align their jaws.
