Why would you think it's not a good idea to feed in the tank? It's actually a pretty common practice. I used to feed in another enclosure, but now I feed in the tank and I get a much better feeding response. If you're concerned about being mistaken for food, that doesn't happen if you go into the cage for more than just feeding. Just an opinion.
Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand
because this one time befor my friend move out of town and it was a day it was time to feed the snake.. my friend his put his hand in a tank to pick up his snake but the snake bit him the snake did not mean to bit him the snake was thinking his was get food....and I was like no way I feed the snake in a tank I was thinking if I feed in a paper bag all the time I sure that Cloud know that it dinner time...and that way I don't get bit by it..right?
Edit:Some people say just saw the head befor picking it up if you feed snkae in tank..
