Possible Shed Starting
So, checked on Monty this afternoon and his eyes are an obvious darker, gray color. Isn’t this a sign of an impending shed?

Re: Possible Shed Starting
Thanks! Yea, that’s kinda what I thought. Decided to put a humid hide in there with him to at least bump up the humidity.

I would be afraid to put that plastic netting I believe I see holding your moss. I can see that being very dangerous. Please use caution, in all sincerity.

Possible Shed Starting
To basically guarantee a good shed .... in case you don't know about the process . ..
When the shed process starts they kinda lose their colouration ( apart from Albinos and/or white snakes ) plus their eyes go blue / creamy - then after a few days their colour returns and eyes go clear BUT they won't actually shed the skin for another 2 to 5 or more days . .
At the first stage ( blue eyes and faded colour) - ensure you spray well once a day until you notice the colour returning/ eyes clear and then start misting/spraying two or three times each day until find the skin in a rolled up messy lump in one of the hides .. spray morning , after work and evening.

Am I the only person seeing plastic netting holding together some of the moss!? That looks extremely dangerous and Could be a lot of trouble if the snake try’s to burrow into it.

I’d agree, ditch the netting if you plan to put that in the tub. You would be surprised what they will try to get into, then stuck in.

Sounds good, guys. I did tie both ends tightly which I got the idea from the interwebs but we all know how that can go. Will remove it immediately. Thanks for the concern.
