So, got home about 6am from a road trip and decided to attempt my 1st feeding with Monty. It had been 10 days since he’d eaten with the previous owners. (purchased him at an expo) He was eating every 7-8 days so I figured he was pretty hungry.
Now it was time to test my complete n00b “expertise”. Took a lg. adult f/t and placed it in a closed ziploc bag, placed the bag in a Tupperware bowl which I ran 115 degree water for about 15 minutes. F/T was soft & toasty. Carried the bowl into the room, opened the cage where he was in his hide, so I tapped the f/t’s toes along the top of his hide which ended in this immediate result.
