    feeding response??

today after feeding i noticed something and i have a quick quick question. Even after a full meal, will snakes sometimes feed on instinct, instead of hunger? i swear my Bp wanted more food even after having a large meal today.

    Re: feeding response??

I kinda think of them like children with candy. Of course they'll eat as much as they can get their hands on, but it's not necessarily good for them. They're opportunistic feeders and may try to take on more than they can handle and regurg, or having kept down that meal they may end up fasting to allow their bodies to catch up. Either way, smaller meals will allow for a more consistant feeding schedule. They can really get used to a routine. Mine know when feeding day is, and boy are they ready for it when I come into the room that night.

    Re: feeding response??

    I know doesn't everyone? LOL!

I guess I was a little excited to be having a nice lucid moment. No having to discuss Thomas, Percy and other assorted trains, Redress the Polly Pockets, or sit through another viewing of Acceleracers/most recent Barbie movie. Everything in my world comes back to kid related analogies...sorry.
