Question Is he going to shed?

For the past couple weeks, my little BP Furion has had these weird.. Not /dry/ patches per say, but I guess little skin tags on his face and only there? They don't show up well in pictures and they're usually no more than maybe 1-3 but it kinda reminds me of the things you get around your fingernails and just pluck off (NO I HAVEN'T TRIED TAKING HIS OFF THO OFC.)

I'm not sure if it's just a sign he's going to shed soon or if it's from him rubbing his face on stuff occasionally. He doesn't do it too often.
Typically only after a feed or occasionally he nose dives into his reptibark/sphagnum moss mixture for fun (?)
There's no visible irritation or anything of the sort.

His last shed was a complete one so I know it's not leftovers! (08/12/18)
He's a little over 4 months old by now.
Humidity is about 60-70 on average. Occasionally steps a little higher if he knocks his moss into the water dish and it sucks it all up. (A silly boy really ).
Temps are 80 on the cool side and 90+ on the other.
    So I don't /think/ it's anything bad but I'm just curious.
He still eats well and acts fine despite it.
I also took him to the vet sometime last month and he had a clean bill of health so this is the only thing about him leaving me stumped.

I cant see anything in the pic, so can't help there. But, at that age a shed should be coming up any time now if he's eating appropriately sized meals weekly.

Also, I'm not sure what exactly "90+" means for your hot side temps, but 90 should be the max.

It almost looks like a bit of dried sphagnum stuck on there to me.

Probably getting it stuck on there after getting all worked up after a meal and facerubbing. Looks like a great little noodle otherwise!

Re: Is he going to shed?

I'm not as experienced as others but one of the first noticeable signs of going into shed is a pink belly and the photo shows that he's pink. If so, then yes he's going into shed.

    He's really cute.

It typically is but due to my room being in direct line with the sunlight it can get a little warmer.
Never goes above 93 from what I've seen on my days off.
Especially now that the cold season has hit.

Thumbs up Re: Is he going to shed? (Update)

But ah just a quick peek back in, he did just hit the big tell for shedding so I was worried over nothing.
I wasn't sure if the dry skin on the nose was an actual sign of it or not since he didn't look dull or anything to me.
I didn't get to see much of him his first shed with me so I missed everything but the peeling process.
Furion is the first snake I've had since I was a child, so I'm a little overbearing when it comes to him, haha.
Thank you very much for the helpful responses!

I went to feed him Tuesday morning come to find he didn't dart up my arm as he usually does so I just gently pet him with a finger and
lord behold, those milky eyes whipped around to look at me. Surprisingly not a very defensive little guy but I refilled his water dish and left him be.
Just waiting for him to peel it off in his own time and leaving him to his own devices.
