no eating/poop
So i have a female BP and when i first got her she was feisty ate her first 2 meals No problem I fed her Rat Fuzzies. she was about 70g. She stopped eating and i noticed she was losing some weight she went down to about 65g, started to look thin and didn't have the same attitude and still was refusing even after trying mice so I assist fed her twice. Thing is I haven't noticed any poop in her tub, there are Urates but no poop. shes always in the hot hide and she doesnt seem to have lost any weight again but I'm a bit worried. Her temps and everything are the same as the other BP's who all are doing fine.
Hot side: 88-90
Cool side: 78ish
Ambient: usually around 78-80
Humidity: 60
She has 2 identical Reptile basics hides i believe they are a small size or an extra small i cant remember. also has a piece of wood and plants draped over it to act like cover... shes in a Shoebox size hide, about 9in W x 16in L

Husbandry looks on point, I see you own a few critters, so I won’t suggest anything that I haven’t already read/ said to threads liket his one.
So, handling? How often? Should be none rn, especially if refusing meals. How long have you had her? Are you feeding live or F/T?
It sounds like you have a baby- baby so as we all know they can be selective far as whatis “normal” for BP babies, the poop thing I wouldn’t worry too much on, they can hold it in for a while, and usually only choose to poop b4 or after a shed, she may be going into blue soon so hopefully you will be able to clean up some poop afterwards lol. I’d say just let her relax, she will give you poop if she ate, and babies are the worse to find what they want… sometimes they hold it in so long they digest most of what they will poop and it can look like a brownish urates, I mean pending your substrate you would have to figure that out…
My boy when I got him was flaky af, after reading Debs post on the shoebox sized tubs and covering the whole tub wherethere is as little light that goes in there as possible, and waiting almost 2 months between 1st eat and 2nd eat…he ate his hopper and went into shed, pooped, & now that I figured what he wants –live - he is 100%’r lol… and the assist feeding –
I’m sure someone will say it too, so I will say it 1st, Assist feedings should only be attempted in EXTREAM CASES and should be done with care as it is super stressful on a little noodle (they can refuse and a regurge will have you super pissed and waiting even longer possibly). You said she ate for you before right ? So if you are doing this I would defiantly stop and wait her out, try to leave her alone, also try live rat pinky on her next feeding attempt – I think u said she is under 100gs so pinky, not hopper as it may be too big- (someone help with rat pinky V/S mouse hopper for this size animal)
this is all “IMO”, as I can relate, and have done all this and it has helped, Lam is pushing 300gs rn sense March(ish). And don’t forget his almost 3 months fast... So it can be done, just have patience and she will be back in line
I hope this helped, keep us updated, and good luck !

Re: no eating/poop
Thanks ill try to wait her out in that case and wait an extra week or 2 before attempting to feed again (I feed F/T).. I've had her a couple months now only reason I assist def was because of the weight loss and she looked thin. I dont handle her at all right now since she isnt eating. It just throws me for a loop because I have one BP that ate a fuzzy that was just barely room temp meanwhile this girl has me for a loop. Not sure if I can find any like pinky rats around here in the stores. I'll look around though
