Question Replacing heat cable with THG heat tape

Hey, purchased two rack systems that hold 12 12 quart tubs each. Problem is i didn't test them before i purchased them and the heat cable isn't working. So, I found an 18 foot FrostKing heat cable on amazon for 9$ but then found out it has a thermostat built in so i'm wondering if it will even work for my purpose. Basically leaning towards just installing heat tape, and i'm wondering what width heat tape i should purchase. Also each rack has 4 shelves, so will i have four plugs, or can i run them all parallel to one plug? thanks in advance.

On another note, is it possible to use a heat cable that has a thermostat built into it? If so i'll do that, but i cant think of how that would work. I have a Herpstat 2 that i was going to plug it in to but not sure if the built in thermostat will take control?

this is the cable i purchased on amazon https://www.frostking.com/wp-content...le_trifold.pdf
