My first BP "Dex"

Just wanted to show my new partner in crime Dexter aka Dex my 5 month old Pastave ball python that I purchased from Miami Reptile Company, which I believe is also xyzreptiles but don't quote me on that.

I've had him for about 3 weeks, didn't feed him the first one but he ate a hefty rat pup both following weeks no problem.

He's super docile and a little shy and has only attempted to bite me twice and succeeded once

but I love the little guy so he's stuck with me lol

Slight tangent but we got chatting with another couple and then their 2 yr old boy toddler up .... called Dexter .....

I said ' Dexter is one of my fave ever TV characters! " ...

They said ' he's our favourite as well , that's who he's named after' !!

I didn't know what to say after that

I suppose it could have been worse and they'd called him Adolf

Oh wow lol yea the first name I had in mind was Jax (from Sons of Anarchy, my real favorite show) but no one seemed to get it or like it

so I went with Dex, and everyone loved it so it stuck lol
