Well the snakes that I posted in the "inquiries" section regarding being scammed by Ray Torres of www.raysreptilia.com have another problem.. I went to check on them during my lunch break today, and 1 of them had died. It is really so sad, she gave no signs, that I could see of being ill. Except for the fact that she was mean, she would strike at about any movement. I figured it was from the stress of being shipped, new home, etc. I fed her on the evening of 9/30. She ate quickly, which seemed great. I offered her a second, but she would not take it... the next morning I realized that she had regurged.I then check the other female that I purchased with her, she too had eaten on 9/30, refused a second, and regurged. I do realize that these are two were for sure wild caught, and not cbb.
My concerns: (please help)
I have young children (5yo. & 3yo.)... do the potenial diseases in these snakes pose any risk to my family?
I have a Male Pastel and 600+ gram female arriving tomorrow. Are they going to suseptable to any disease from the WC females?
What can I do to insure the health/safety of the 2nd snake I have that is still alive, and (seemingly) in good health?
Your help and advice are very much appreaciated.
