BP egg standing up???
Hey guys, Im new here and about 2.5 years into the hobby. I have my first clutch of eggs, Im on day 27. So far eggs are all doing great. I do wonder though about 1 egg. It shows no signs of struggle, it seems perfect healthy. But its standing up leaned against the other eggs. Has anyone had experience with this? I dont want to mess with them if its not necessary. They have beautiful veins, bright white. The dimpling has been that way since the day she laid them. Temps at 88.5-89 humidty 99%. The only reason I ask is because Im not sure if the yolk will fall into the end and cause issues. Id love to hear your opinion if you have one. Thanks.
BTW Ive learned so much from just reading yalls conversations.

If you candled it and you see it at the top of the egg it should be fine. If not you need to lay it correctly or it will drown.

If I see the yolk at the top? The yolk is not at the top. Im pretty sure the yolk is at the bottom where the egg is sitting on the crate.

Your egg will be fine do not move it.

When I bred a few snakes, I always gently separated the eggs immediately...& yes, it's time consuming & not without risks, but I never lost any that way...there
are tricks to successfully separating them. I preferred them separated so that if any went bad, I could easily toss them without having to worry about mold or flies
affecting the adhering good eggs.
But after 27 days, you'd NOT want to re-orient any of your eggs...you are "committed" to their positions. And no one moves them around in nature.

Re: BP egg standing up???
I just hatched a vertical egg. The egg was vertical from day one and never presented any problems. My rule of thumb is stay as they lay. Baby came out 100 % healthy.
