Feeding advice

Apologies in advance. I know feeding is a common question. I have a small python, and i finally got everything set about 2 weeks ago. I've left him alone since and i cant get him to eat. I have frozen hoppers, and everytime I offer a thawed one, he seems to be scared and turns away. I've had him about 3-4 weeks now. It's quite stressful on both of us. Anything else i can try? Anything to make it more appetizing or to somehow make him less stressed?

Was he sold as eating on frozen or live?

Hind sight is 20/20. They just said hoppers. I use the tongs and shake him around. I don't think I can even find live ones around here.

In order for anyone to help you'll have to explain or take a pic of his enclosure.. Tell us your temps, Hot side /Cool side, how they are regulated, Hide status and how your preparing (warming and to what temp) and offering the F/T

The hide side has a UTH set at 92 degrees (with thermostat between mat and glass), the other side bottom is around 74-76 degrees usually.

The hide is shown. Humidity is usually 60-75%. He normally roams the cage several times a day, checking it out, using the water bowl, etc.
