Carrot then and now. Paradox T- Albino Cape African House snake

This little odd ball hatched in Nov. '16. She was quite rough, with an enlarged, fluid swollen eye and a retained yolk and egg stem. For the first three days I wasn't sure she wouldn't die or that I might have to make the call to euth her. After three days she was doing much better and looked way better after her first shed.
Half of her eye came off in the first shed and for a long time I thought that she was blind in it until her 4th shed when the eyecap came off and showed this half sized intact eye with a responsive pupil. She took a long time to get eating, force fed her for awhile, and then the lazy little beast would eat if I pried her mouth open and stuck the piece of mouse in her mouth and then finally ate a live pink on her own, after that she rapidly switched to F/T pinks on her own.

When I first posted her pre first shed pictures, someone commented that she looked like a moldy carrot and that was just so fitting it stuck!

Pictures just after her first shed.

Then after the shed that showed her working, though undersized eye.
