Friendships

I'm curious how many other people on here communicate with members outside of the forums.

One member on here has become one of my good friends as we often communicate on the phone/text/facebook. I'm just curious if any other users have found friends on here, being that we share a lot of the same hobbies. Our common interest is venomous snakes.

I have made more than a handful of great friends from here with whom I talk to text, FaceTime ... etc.

its been something I never expected from this hobby or joining this forum but it’s pretty damn awesome.

Thanks. Glad it worked out for you as well. I was just curious, cause really I know facebook groups have taken over, but I don't really prefer them.

So far I've made a handful of friends here on the forum, but communication has been here only. I'm not on FB, and have no desire to join again. I'd be open to text/phone, email communication, it just hasn't happened yet.

I do often talk about my "BP.net friends" with family, co-workers and my girlfriend though.

It might be cool to meet some other members in person though, maybe at an Expo or something.
