Mia didn't eat..
Hello. Mia didn't eat last night. Son tried for a good 10 or 15 min reheating food. She was 100% not interested.
After reading everything on here and all the people who talk about them missing meals, in not to worried.
Just a bit frustrating since its the first time she refused food since she started eating on her own.
Personally I think he gave her to big of a mouse last week. He gave her a medium when the chart says by weight she should still be eating small.
Could that be the issue? She's still full? Should we wait til next week or should we try again this weekend?
And here's a new pic. My son said her grip felt like those old fashioned Chinese finger torture things we played with as kids...
She's is growing like a weed!

Yes her size has amazed me. She went from this on 2/26
To this last night.

I think she's still full...not to worry. Larger prey takes longer to digest. Let her wait a week or more. If you offer too frequently it's just stressful.

I second this 100%.
I would wait a week after a refusal and offer again on whatever day feeding would have been.
Offering too often can stress the snake and lead to more refusals.
