Helix DBS 1,000 or Herpstat Basic Thermostat?

I made my own incubator that holds temp great. My thermostat is just a on off and I don’t trust it. I just want to know if people prefer the helix DBS 1,000 or the Herpstat Basic (not 1, the Basic). Or if they both work as well or not well enough. Thanks

Herpstat 1 is the way to go.. it's a little more than the basic but worth it.

Have you heard good things about the helix though? I’ve decided I don’t like the VE but I really like the sound of the helix. It seems simplistic. I don’t need anything crazy.
